Toshiba enters the netbook fray with the Satellite NB100
Everyone.. please welcome Toshiba to the netbook parade! The company will finally be entering the netbook market with their new Satellite NB100 system. The NB100 features nearly identical specs as other netbooks out on the market. These include:
- Intel Atom processor
- 1GB RAM
- 120GB HDD
- 8.9 inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution
- Built-in Wi-Fi
- Ethernet
- 0.3 megapixel webcam
- Choice of Linux or Windows XP
The battery life is supposedly 3 hours and 47 minutes (seems very exacting eh?) which makes me believe it’s a 4 cell battery perhaps? The netbook will be coming out in three colors – Cosmic Black, Champagne Gold and Bright Silver with availability sometime in October for a price of £260.
