Yes netbook popularity is indeed spreading

Folks – you know netbooks are all the rage when middle America is writing up stories about them (either that or they’re just lacking news these days). Case in point – Steve Alexander of the Minneapolis – St. Paul “StarTribune” has written a netbook story entitled “Light on the arms, wallet, and speed.” The article describes netbooks and their advantages/disadvantages, and then profiles two consumers – one who likes netbooks and one who doesn’t. According to Minneapolis real estate agent, Chris Deutsch, (who owns an ASUS Eee PC):

“Deutsch said a netbook is less expensive and lighter than a laptop, and adequate for Net access”

Meanwhile, Shane O’Gorman of Eau Claire, Wis said this:

O’Gorman said a netbook is overpriced, barely lighter than a laptop, and runs too slowly

Hah.. yes – they’re both right aren’t they?

I will not argue on that.. Netbook is really spreading like a virus.. Can wait to see more of the innovation coming with this gadget. Our lives become more enjoyable because of technology.. A good example of this is in passing resume. You can now do it online...

Nowadays, it’s really hard to bring back our old ways of standard living. We still are facing up all this economic downturns that result into too much poverty, starvation and unemployment to some of our people. But on the other hand some jobs still exist even in times of hard life. One of this is a Realtor. It is said being Realtor is a good career. A Realtor during a housing boom can rake in the cash, especially if they’re able to work in an expensive market. Some in the Realtor trade are resorting to installment loans to keep afloat. Just try to save more and always keep in mind that too many expenses is unwanted at this time of recession.

I saw that you picked up the article here. Thanks. It was a lot of fun being interviewed. I spent hundreds of hours researching net books. I was very close to purchasing one but then the back to school sales came out and it was no question. For price and feature set a notebook just couldn't be beat. Like I said in the interview I think net books will be interesting to watch. It is inevitable they will get better. But for $500 a notebook will blow away a net book of the same price.
