Preview pictures of the Lenovo IdeaPad S10
The Lenovo IdeaPad S10 netbook finally arrived yesterday via UPS Ground. The somewhat worrisome aspect – the packaging for the system was rather beat up from the shipping (you’ll see pictures of that below). In fact, I was very disappointed that Lenovo shipped the S10 simply in the original box that the netbook came in. There was no additional packaging around it. Had I known this, I would have opted for a different form of shipping instead of UPS Ground.

Luckily, the S10 suffered no damage whatsoever.

Here’s the S10 out of the box – there’s protective plastic sheets on the top of the netbook and on the inside display.

I know some of you might be interested in how it looks relative to other netbooks. I have the Acer Aspire One on hand to compare it against. The Aspire One is just slightly smaller than the IdeaPad S10. The S10 sticks out just a tad – makes you realize that the Aspire One could have had a 10 inch screen in place of the 8.9 inch.
Here are shots of the netbooks relative to a 15 inch Sony VAIO notebook.
