MSI to launch Wind U120 in November
DigiTimes is reporting that MSI is planning to launch the MSI Wind U120 netbook in November of this year. The U120 is essentially the same as the U100 except the new model features 3.5G network support built right into the system. For NT$18,000 ($552 U.S. dollars), the U120 will feature an Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, 120GB HDD, Windows XP, and 3.5 G support (though you’ll still need a carrier of course). MSI is hoping that 500,000 to 600,000 units of the Wind will be sold in 2008.
