The folks at Mobile Computer UK have published their hands-on look at a new pre-production Toshiba NB100 netbook device here on their website. Here are some tidbits from the article:

• A little larger and a little lighter than the Eee PC 901
• 5200mAh battery for about 3.5 hours of usage
• Glossy 8.9 inch display
• keyboard slightly larger than the Eee PC 901
• Available in either Ubuntu Linux or Windows XP Home
• Linux model has 512MB of RAM and 80GB HDD while Windows model has 1GB RAM and 120GB HDD

The NB100 will be available at the end of this month with the Linux model going for £259 inc VAT and the Windows XP model going for £299 inc VAT. They even have a video clip (below):
