Epson Japan introduces the Endeavor Na01 netbook
Everyone say hello to Epson, specifically Epson Japan, as they’ve entered the netbook space with the introduction of the Endeavor Na01 mini netbook. The specs are what you’d expect from a 10 inch netbook these days – Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, a hard drive, blah blah blah. The chassis itself has a very boring business-like feel to it. Here’s the full rundown on specs:
Intel Atom N270 processor running at 1.6GHz- Windows XP Home Edition SP3
- Intel 945GSE Express chipset
- 1 GB DDR2 RAM
- 10.2 inch WSVGA (1024 x 600) display
- 160GB 5400RPM HDD
- Ethernet
- 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi
- 3 USB 2.0 ports
- VGA port
- 3 in 1 media card reader
- Measures 184.7 x 266 x 39 mm
On the good side, the Endeavor Na01 isn’t that expensive – the company has a suggested price of ¥46,800 (approximately $488 U.S. dollars). No word on when or if this will make it to the U.S.
