Zoostorm Freedom

With most major multi-national companies having already entered the netbook market, it’s now up to the smaller regional companies to make a name for themselves in this market. Case in point – UK computer manufacturer, Zoostorm, is entering the market with the (rather boring) Freedom netbook. Specs on the Freedom include:

  • Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor
  • Intel 945 GSE chipset
  • 8.9 inch WSVGA LED backlit LCD display
  • 512MB of RAM
  • Wi-Fi with 802.11n support
  • Built-in webcam
  • Microphone
  • 2 in 1 memory card reader
  • 2 x PCI Express Mini Card
  • 8GB flash memory
  • 10/100 Ethernet
  • Windows XP Home Edition
  • 4 cell battery life with 4.5 hour battery life
  • Measures 22.5 x 17 x 3.38 cm
  • Weighs 0.9 kg

If you’re in the UK, you’ll be able to purchase the Freedom from PC Nextday for a price of £241.61 (including VAT).
