Hmm.. is Dell working on an Android powered netbook?
Now here’s something interesting. A posting over at Ubergizmo mentions that Dell might very well be creating an Android-powered netbook. The basis for this rumor? A report that states that Bsquare is working on a port of Adobe Flash Lite to Android for a Dell Android netbook. Now this report is being remarked as “issued in error.”
So – is this really an erroneous posting? Or did Bsquare let the cat out of the bag a bit early? Here’s what SYS-CON INDIA has to say about the posting (via Marketwire) just in case it goes away later:
“BELLEVUE, WA — (Marketwire) — 05/06/09 — Editors and other readers are advised to disregard the news release with the headline, “Bsquare to Port Adobe Flash Lite on New Google Android Netbook for Dell,” issued earlier today by Bsquare Corporation (NASDAQ: BSQR). The release was issued in error.”
