Gateway enters the thin-and-light notebook market with the introduction of the new EC Series of notebook PCs. Available in 15.6 inch and 11.6 inch displays, the EC systems deliver up to 8 hours of battery life and will be available this week with the launch of Windows 7. Making up the new EC Series will be the 15.6 inch EC58 and EC54 and the 11.6 inch EC14 notebook PCs.
