It’s no secret we’re big fans of the Toshiba Mini NB205 series – I mean seriously- what’s not to like about the system? The battery life is awesome (9+ hours), the keyboard’s awesome, and my goodness, that touchpad is gi-normous for a netbook (if you’ve ever played with a Lenovo IdeaPad S10 touchpad then you’ll know what I’m talking about here).  With that said, there’s an awesome deal for the Toshiba Mini NB205-N230 over at Amazon.com. The system is currently available for $329.99 and features the following specs:

Hope you still have some money left over from all those Black Friday deals because Cyber Monday deals are just around the corner. Best Buy will be launching their 2 day Cyber Monday deals on 12:01 CST Sunday morning and will run through till 11:50pm CST Monday night.

A quick glance through the deals reveals only one netbook for sale – the Samsung N140-14R which will be $50 dollars off the regular price Samsung N130 which will be $30 dollars off the regular price of $299.99 making it $269.99 of $379.99. The system comes with the Atom N280 N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 6 cell battery, 10.1 inch display, 250GB 160 GBHDD, built-in webcam, and Windows 7 Starter Edition.

Do you have a Dell Inspiron Mini 10v? Are you feeling a bit adventurious?

If the answer to both question is an affirmative yes, then you might be interested in hearing Dell has released a highly experimental version of the Google Chrome OS for the Mini 10v. This image is based on the source code released by Google last week with some minor tweaks to get it working for the Mini 10v.

According to Doug A at Direct2Dell, there are some “caveats”. They are as follows:

• Could take 5-10 minutes for the Chrome OS network connection manager to “see” the wireless access points
• Issues with connection manager and underlying components which can easily break or cause the system to hang
• No reboot or shutdown option in the menu – press power to reboot the system

As you can guess, this is unsupported software so use it at your own risk. Make sure to back up your system before hand!

One more day for this deal folks – the Acer Aspire One AOD250-1165 Sapphire Blue 10.1 inch netbook is available for $199.99 at Office Depot. This is an in-store deal only so if you want it – go find yourself an Office Depot and pray it’s in stock!

The AOD250 in question is a pretty standard netbook with your usual N270 Atom processor 1GB of RAM, 10.1 inch display, Windows XP Home, 160GB HDD, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, 3 USB 2.0 ports, Intel integrated graphics (950), and memory card reader of course.

You can check out the deal online but again – it’s an in-store deal only.

RadioShack has extended their Black Friday deals by one more day (Saturday) which means you have one more day to buy the Acer Aspire AO751h-1279 11.6 inch netbook for $249.99. The system features an Intel Atom Z520 processor, 2GB of RAM, 250GB HDD, Windows Vista OS, 11.6 inch WXGA display with 16:9 aspect ratio, integrated Intel GMA 500 graphics, Ethernet, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Acer CrystalEye webcam, 3 cell battery, and 3 USB 2.0 ports. You’ll have to find the netbook in stores though – this system is sold out online right now.

BTW – if you get this netbook, you’ll be able to get a Netbook accessory bundle from RadioShack for $29.99. This bundle includes a 4 port USB hub, mobile mouse, earbuds with a built-in microphone, and a cooling pad.
