Averatec’s rebranded MSI Wind netbook, the “Buddy” (model N1030EA1E-1), is now available on Averatec’s website for $449.99. The system specs:

Trigem intros the Averatec Buddy
Missed this one last week - Trigem USA (their products typically fall under the Averatec brand) announced their formal entry into the netbook market with the new Averatec Buddy. The Buddy features a 10.2 inch display, an Intel Atom processor, a 160GB HDD, Windows XP Home OS, 1GB of RAM, and Wi-Fi support. The Averatec Buddy will be sold on the web at http://www.shopaveratec.com and through major online resellers. The Buddy will have an MSRP of $449.99.
