T3 compares the Eee PC 901, the Aspire One, and the Medion Akoya
Gadget website, T3, has succinct (and at times funny) article up comparing three different netbooks – the ASUS Eee PC 901, the Acer Aspire One, and the Medion Akoya. Check out the battle royale for additional details. Here’s an excerpt for each of the three netbooks:
For the Eee PC 901:
“Having said that, we know some bloomin’ wimmen whose dainty little fingers work perfectly with the 901, so perhaps we need to go on a finger-diet. The battery life of around four to five hours is the best thing about this netbook, without a doubt.”
For the Acer Aspire One:
“If it weren’t for the poorly-performing battery, which barely kept us powered up away from the office for two hours, the Aspire would have won T3’s value netbook crown. As such, it remains a prince amongst miniature ‘puters.”
and finally, for the Medion Akoya (the rebranded MSI Wind):
“ For a computer that is designed for use on the go to hardly make it through ninety minutes away from a power source is almost inexcusable.”
