If you’re looking for a thin-and-light notebook, then you’ll want to make sure to check out Amazon’s website at 8am PST and look at the sale price for the ASUS UL30A-X5 notebook. Currently listed at $699.99, Amazon will be cutting the price of this thin-and-light notebook at 8am.

This notebook is pretty much the same system I am currently using (UL30A-X3) except it’s black and comes with a larger hard drive. The basic specs to the UL30A-X5 include an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor, 4GB of RAM, 500GB HDD, 13.3 inch HD LED LCD display, Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, Wi-Fi, 0.3 megapixel webcam, and Windows 7 Home Premium. The best part about this system? It’s low price and battery life. At $699.99, it’s already a steal but at 8am, it’s sure to be an even better deal!! So head over to Amazon in about 6+ hours.

Oh yeah – you can also check out my brief video review of the UL30A-X3 – the silver version of the above notebook with a smaller hard drive.
