“Tech It Easy”, a Ukrainian website, has published their first look at the new Samsung NC10 netbook here on their site. From the pictures on the site, the NC10 appears to have a solid look to it. There’s a small SIM card slot underneath the battery compartment and the keyboard certainly looks spacious. For those of you that care about benchmarks on netbooks, they got the following numbers – 88 for 3D Mark 2006, 2192.9 for CPUMark 2.1, and 75.05 for CPUMark 2.2. Yet more importantly, the site has tons of pictures of the NC10 so head on over to check them out will ya!

PC Pro Blog had a hands-on look at the new Samsung NC10 netbook and my oh my.. it’s sexy! Some of the notable comments made in the hands-on look include:

• Power button is on the right side of the center hinge
• Comfortable keyboard which also happens to be 93% of a full sized keyboard
• Practically the same width as the Wind
• Enter key isn’t full height
• Small trackpad
• Good looking chassis (indeed!)
• 6 cell battery supposedly gives 8 hours (Samsung’s claims)

And just confirming the price cuts we mentioned earlier, PC Pro Blog was assured from a Samsung rep that the NC10 would be available for £254 (£299 inc VAT).

Here’s more good stuff from SlashGear.com – they have additional live shots of the newly announced LG X110 MOMO. This 10 inch Intel Atom-based netbook will be available in Europe at the end of this month with prices ranging from 399 to 499 EUR.

SlashGear has published new stills of the upcoming Fujitsu AMILO Mini Ui 3520 netbook. If you’re not familiar with the netbook, here are the following major specs:

• Intel Atom N270 processor
• 8.9 inch non-glare display
• 60 or 80GB HDD with 120GB HDD coming in December
• Battery life of more than four hours
• Integrated Wi-Fi
• UMTS support through ExpressCard slot
• Microphone
• 1.3 megapixel camera

• Windows XP Home Edition
• Measures 32.2 x 17.5  cm and weighs 1kg

The Lenovo IdeaPad S10 netbook finally arrived yesterday via UPS Ground. The somewhat worrisome aspect – the packaging for the system was rather beat up from the shipping (you’ll see pictures of that below). In fact, I was very disappointed that Lenovo shipped the S10 simply in the original box that the netbook came in. There was no additional packaging around it. Had I known this, I would have opted for a different form of shipping instead of UPS Ground.
